Joanna Stenzel is an artist, specializing in hand painted rocks.  She lives in New York.  In the summer, she is busy finding the perfect beach rocks to paint.  In the winter, she is busy painting beach rocks.  When she is not busy being an artist, she enjoys walking, swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family. Her friends call her Jo, and she signs her work with the name Jo.

Twice a year, Jo brings her rather large rock pile to market.  You can find her at a table full of hand painted rocks at the Zion Episcopal Church Strawberry Festival every June,  and the Hallockville Country Fair & Craft Show every September.

Many of Jo’s themes include animals and she is often commissioned to paint beloved pets.  If you would like Jo to paint something special for you, please use the contact form on the contact page to reach her and allow a few days response time.  Jo is “old school” and “no tech” so she will be contacting you through the phone number you provide.
